After nearly 20 years in public accounting and financial leadership, I reached a point where I wanted more than numbers on a page. I wanted fulfillment.

For me, fulfillment and success aren’t defined by titles or firm size; they come from using my strengths - planning, solving problems, analyzing, and improving - to make a difference for people who are building something of their own.

I saw how many small business owners were managing every detail themselves, often without the clarity or systems they needed to move forward confidently. My goal was to change that; to bring the discipline of accounting together with the insight of business strategy in a way that’s clear, practical, and empowering. That’s what inspired change to my career and priorities - that is what inspired building Active Consulting & Accounting.

Our team works side-by-side with business owners to create solid foundations from bookkeeping and budgeting, to process design, and long-term planning. We approach every engagement as a partnership, helping clients understand their numbers, strengthen their operations, and make decisions that lead to growth.

Learning and embracing technology is a key part of that process. The right tools create efficiency and transparency, giving business owners a clear picture of where they stand and what’s next. My business continues to evolve, and I look for clients who share that mindset — people who want to learn, adapt, and move forward with purpose.
